From experience of trial and error with many products, I found the only product that made my hair grow back and continue to grow was Rogaine (www.rogaine.com). The only bad thing about this product is you need to use twice a day everyday! Ugh! :(

I definetely suggest you to go see a dermatologist first. Your hair loss may not be caused by Alopecia (thininning hair), but maybe form a lack of a vitamin, for example Iron. The pattern of how you are thinning is a sure tale sign of what the reason is.

you can have your thyroid tested, if thats ok , its probably genetic and you would have to go with transplants.

you can try rogaine or kgf serum. THose are the only 2 products that help.

You could start there. Most likely it is not a treatable type of hair loss. Some types of treatable are those caused by certain scalp disorders and even those are not usually reversable but can be maintained or slowed down.
