Will brushing your hair alot to get waves cause baldness?

Also is also cutting your hair alot going to cause baldness and I was also told not certain by putting wave products in your hair could make you have hair loss when your in your 30-40

Will brushing your hair alot to get waves cause baldness?

brushing actually stimulates the scalp and could prevent hair loss. if its genetic your out of luck. products tend to have a lot of alcohol which dries your hair out and could cause breakage, cutting has nothing to do with what happens to your inner root system.

Will brushing your hair alot to get waves cause baldness?

well try to avoid brushing it unecessarily.....cutting your hair once in a while is actually good for your hair as it encourages regrowth

What products and methods should I use on my blonde, fragile, abormally frizzy, curly hair?

My hair is not normal. I have what is affectionately referred to as a "Jew 'fro". But it's much frizzier and tighter curled, than the average Jewish curly mane. It's this uncontrollable, erratic, frizzy Z curl that I can do nothing with! It's extremely course. It feels like fiberglass. Constantly tangles! (My hair is long. Short becomes an afro.) I always use either moisturizing or anti-frizz shampoos and conditioners and leave-in conditioners and anti-frizz treatments and they don't help. I also don't wash my hair every day as that would be too drying. I'm at a loss. My hair is also very fragile and breaks constantly, even with a wide toothed comb. And tons of my hair comes out in the shower. It's aweful! Because I am blonde, I have no melanin to give added strength. They never know what to do with my hair at salons as they aren't used to dealing with my hair type. Any advice on what I can do or use? And how can I keep it detangled daily, without having to wash it daily?

What products and methods should I use on my blonde, fragile, abormally frizzy, curly hair?

Ok girl you need 2 products.

#1 PROTIEN. go to a SALON not your local drug store. you need the good stuff. Ask for a protien treatment. this will make your hair stronger.

#2 MOISTURE. again go to a SALON and ask for a moisture treatment. if you just use the protien your hair will become so strong that it just breaks, so you need moisture to make it soft and managable.

Hair care is simple and finite. stick with a simple routine and your mane will shine. oh speaking of shine, grab a cheap hair serum like friz ease and use it after or while blow drying to add shine and nix frizz.

What products and methods should I use on my blonde, fragile, abormally frizzy, curly hair?

girl go to victoria secret and tey got the perfect solution for you. i had the same problem, but difference i'm not blond.

What products and methods should I use on my blonde, fragile, abormally frizzy, curly hair?

i suggest using all matrix/biolage products

they are great for your hair type, everything from shampoo to straightening gel

What products and methods should I use on my blonde, fragile, abormally frizzy, curly hair?

REDKEN has a wonderful product out now call fresh curls. Go to a salon and get some they have sham, cond, leave in cond, anti frizz shiner. I got my friend a trial pack and she loved it all.

What products and methods should I use on my blonde, fragile, abormally frizzy, curly hair?

I know that Infusion for tangles works great and you can use it everyday just put it in a spray bottle add a little water if you want and spray it all over. And for the frizz I use the oil treatments that they have at Walmart you can use both at the same time.

Do shen min tablets work?

Has anyone taken any of the Shen Min hair loss products? How well do they work?

Do shen min tablets work?

they don't work. there is only one hair loss pill that has been proven to actually help with hair loss. its called propecia. i suggest you speak to a doctor about medically proven treatments, that way you can avoid fad scam products such as this one.

Where can I get a combination folligen and emu oil-based product to improve the condition of my hair

I am African-American and have chemically relaxed my hair with box treatments for years. I have noticed that I do not get the same results with my chemical relaxing that I once did in the past. My hair does not respond as readily to conditioning products that I once used and the relaxer does not last as long as it once did. I have heard a lot about the products folligen, I believe it is found in Minoxidil, and Emu oil as excellent products to restore damaged hair due to modern day styling techniques. I have not, however, seen much information on over-the-counter products containing them besides Minoxidil for hair loss and Super Strength Blue Emu Oil for joint and muscle pain. Are there any stores that carry these products like Walmart, Walgreen's, or GNC?

Where can I get a combination folligen and emu oil-based product to improve the condition of my hair?

I buy emu products off ebay, you can also use "aussie hair insurance - leave in conditioner " which contains aloe and castor oil, which is great for damamged hair, there are also things you can do at home like olive oil treatment twice a week, mayonaisse treatment, many and most oils are great for hair, even canola oil or vegetable oil, hope this helps !

Where can I get a combination folligen and emu oil-based product to improve the condition of my hair?

My hair is also relaxed %26amp; I've decided to give emu oil a shot myself. I just purchased the oil itself off ebay. Faintly smells like chicken.Extra virgin olive oil is excellent also. How are you applying your relaxers? No-lye relaxers are harder on the hair than lye relaxers %26amp; timing is very crucial w/ either type. If you've been using a no-lye relaxer I strongly recommend stretching your relaxer for about 8 weeks (so you'll have about 1" of new growth) %26amp; then ONLY touching up your roots w/ a lye relaxer. Be sure to base your scalp %26amp; try not to overprocess. You should never relax your entire head if a relaxer has been applied once before.Your hair right now could be overprocessed or underprocessed depending on how careful you are while self relaxing. Also your hair might be growing at a faster rate, that is why it may seem like you need another relaxer every time you turn around. If your hair is damaged %26amp; breaking I highly recommend Nexxus emergencee then following up w/ a moisturizing conditioner free of any proteins like nexxus humuctress, nectaress, or aphogee balancing moisturizer conditioner. You have to make sure that you follow up w/ a moisturizing conditioner w/ out protein otherwise your hair will be too hard from the protein %26amp; snap off. Don't be scared though because it will dramatically improve the condition of your hair %26amp; cut down on the breakage. If you're looking for something to make your hair grow faster I doubt anything will help you %26amp; I wouldn't recommend using minoxidil unless you seriously have thinning hair. Lot's of people have had success using a product called Shapley's MTG on their scalps. It is an equine product that has sulfur in it. I've tried it myself %26amp; it's alright, but it smells like bacon. If u decide to try it, be sure you don't have any in your hair the week of your relaxer because your scalp will burn. I hope that helps some in your hair journey. If you're trying to grow your hair long be VERY careful with it, keep it covered at night %26amp; try not to use heat styling tools more than 1x a week after you wash %26amp; be patient :) Good luck!

Does SPAM actually work?

From a business standpoint, does constantly spamming email inboxes really work?

In other words, is the time and money spent creating and sending out the emails and maintaining the spam email list really justified by sales of whatever product they are spamming (i.e., porn, hair loss products, etc.).

Yes, spam is highly annoying to receive, but I am curious if it is a good investment of time from the business standpoint.

Does SPAM actually work?

i don't know, it might. all you need is one person to fall for it and you're set. when i click on the spam button provided by e-mail, i still get the same spam e-mails regardless so that icon doesn't work for sure. you would have to ask the spammers and find out if it is worth it business wise.

Does SPAM actually work?

This is an opinion, not backed by statistics.

If the spammers were not getting a return on their investment, they would quit. Compared to a direct mail campaign, their costs per contact are quite low. Since most of them are, essentially, offering nothing for something, it doesn't take much response to make money. Also, spam is widely used by hackers to spread their dirty digits, so profit does not enter into it.

Does SPAM actually work?

I've wondered the same thing, I assume it must be or people wouldn't waste time and effort to do it. I've never clicked on one. I always delete them, but since I've been using Yahoo Mail, I rarely see them.

I just use the free one.

Does SPAM actually work?

Does SPAM actually work?

Absolutely it's profitable for them and very annoying for everyone else.

Basically it nothing for a spammer to send emails.

It's practically ALL automated and takes only seconds for them to send thousands of emails out.

Email address domain list CD are for sale for pennies containing millions of domain and email addresses. Bulk email software is used for the randomization of subjects, email address, senders name, open relays (Server which allow unauthenticated email to send through them) etc...

They may find a domain to send to and suddenly everyone may get a similar email at work. All with different subject. That's the bulk email software.

Basically it is doesn't cost them anything. So ANY money made is profit. Trust me they make money too. I am a Network administrator and see a lot of scary thing users do.

The other sad part. spammers are now teaming with virus makers to send more and more emails faster.

Be careful

Do home stripping remdies for dyed hair work?

i have already posted a question yesterday asking if anyone knew of a dead cert way to removed my permanent brown hair dye from my naturally blonde hair after being there for quite a while. I was very pleased to see some people had the same problem and said it would be best to get it done by a hairdresser. However this is costl and as i said in my last question i dont have much money.

however i have been reading some questions posted by other people who said that they have used things such as fairy

liquid, head and shoulders and vosene and i was wondering if these things actually worked and what state they would leave my hair in afterwards. i have also heard stories that these kind of products on dyed hair could cause hair loss and i really dont want that to happen to me!

please could anyone with experience in using these kind of home-made stripping kits or knows anyone who has please give me some feedback of your experiences as i would really like to be blond again!

ty! x

Do home stripping remdies for dyed hair work?

DO NOT USE STRIPPINGS!! it can change you hair color to orange. or any other colro but nbot you natural hair color. the only way to get you hair color back to normal is to dye it very similar to you natural hair color. you will just dam,age your hair if you do any other remeides that usually dont work. i used to work at a beauty salon store and i seen crazy colors due to hair stripping. and i wouldnt recommend it to anyone. but if you want to go for it., just know you will not get your nataural hair color back to normal with those things

Do home stripping remdies for dyed hair work?

I know that using, Head and shoulders works for sure, Because it has an ingredient, that strips colour gradually. And it has things that help damaged and stressed hair, So it's all good.

Do home stripping remdies for dyed hair work?

Hey I'm having that problem right now myself...I was told to use Dawn dish soap, or just any kind of shampoo that is not for 'color treated hair' (that makes your color seal in more). Also it helps if the shampoo has alcohol in it; that's what I was told and I'm trying that now...

make sure to wash your hair a lot! fades way more that way

Do home stripping remdies for dyed hair work?

if you put a stripper on there, you will have to end up coloring it again, if your intention is to not color your hair any more, then dont. Wait and let it grow out and cut it off. leaving nothing but your natural color.

Do home stripping remdies for dyed hair work?

You'll need to go to your local beauty supply shop, i.e. Sally, and ask for "Color Remover". You may want to pick up 2-3 boxes, depending on the thickness, length and color of your hair. For example, If you have Shoulder length, fine hair, and the color you are wearing now is medium brown, one box will do.

But, if you have shoulder length, thick hair, and it's dark brown, you'll need 2 boxes. They aren't so bad on your hair either, much better than trying to lighten your hair back to blonde from coloring. After you strip your hair with the color remover, make sure you use a deep conditioning agent, such as placebo, or something your stylist reccomends. I use the mud pacs available at sally beauty supply.

I've experienced the same problem as you, my hair is light brown/auburn, and once someone messed me up and dyed it black in cosmetology school. This is the only thing that worked for me.

Good luck!

Do home stripping remdies for dyed hair work?

the problem with using things like head and shoulders (which actually, alot of shampoos strip the hair of it's dyed color gradually) is that it's done gradually and you'll end up with a hair color that's not too pretty. you don't want to end up with orange hair or anything like that.

if you really can't make it to the salon, then instead of stripping, why don't you start gradually dying your hair lighter. each time you can use a lighter dye. or I've used Born Blonde (I have dark brown hair that I've dyed many a color) by Clairol. and I was dark brown before I went blonde and it worked great.

the thing about going to the salon for stripping is that stripping the hair is such a tramatic thing to your hair and doing it yourself you risk damaging it. if you strip I really recommend you going to the salon. other than that, try the born blonde stuff or start dying your hair lighter...and don't forget to deep condition...

Do home stripping remdies for dyed hair work?

A stripper (store bought) will remove a lot of the color, but it won't turn you back to your natural color. What it will do is make your hair look really brassy (orangish). You will have to follow it with a toner like a semi-perm color...but this is really tricky because your hair will be porous from the stripper, so you will likely get a weird/ugly tone when you put color on it. This is why people recommended that you go to a good salon to get it fixed...but you are right, it will cost you because this is considered a corrective color.

My suggestion would be to just try and fade the color up to take the intensity away. Mix baking soda with shampoo and wash your hair a couple of times.

FYI...anyone who tells you to dye it lighter doesn't know what they are talking about...color doesn't lighten color. What will happen is that your roots will be the color on the box, and the rest of your hair will still be dark. Bleach is the only thing that will lighten the color, and you definitely don't want to do that.

Do home stripping remdies for dyed hair work?

Hey.

I had black hair, hair dye was meant to be dark brown but obviously not, i decided i wanted blonde hair so i started using fairy liquid, vosene and i already used head and shoulders, and trust me, this stuff does not work, and will deffo not get you back to blonde, at the maximum probably a medium brown? I did however get my hair stripped, people dont realise this can be done at home also but getting it done in a salon is a lot better if you dont want patchy hair! Talking to hair consultants thats all i can suggest sorry, as nothing else really works! if it did, there would be no stripping in salons? Hope I helped and good luck getting your hair back to blonde, afterall its so much nicer in the summer!

I'm in my 50's and where my hair is mostly gray (the front of my hairline and scalp) it

i do to help it grow back..also, where i'm gray, my scalp has turned pink....according to the rogaine box it won't help this area grow hair....any women have luck with a product for this hair loss?

I'm in my 50's and where my hair is mostly gray (the front of my hairline and scalp) it's thinning...what can

Pink skin sounds like irritation. Have you seen a dermatologist? Your scalp should be the color of the rest of your skin, only slightly lighter. Any areas of redness that have thinning hair should be seen by a dermatologist, as it could be some kind of scalp disease or fungus.

I wouldn't deal with the Rogaine, go to a dermatologist.
